Our Cub Scout Pack is called Polaris. Cubs meet as a Pack and work in smaller groups called Sixes. Our team of adults, including uniformed leaders, sectional assistants, helpers, and parents, run the Pack and provide a safe, welcoming environment for every Cub.
What Cubs do
Cubs participate in a wide range of fun, challenging, and adventurous activities. Highlights include:
- 🏕️ Camping and outdoor adventures
- 🎯 Badge work and challenges
- 🔥 Team games and problem-solving
- 🌍 Exploring nature and the outdoors
- 🤝 Making new friends and developing confidence
Badges and Awards
Cub Scouts work towards a range of awards:
- Membership Award – for new Cubs learning about Scouting
- Activity Badges – to develop personal interests and skills
- Challenge Awards – complete eight to earn the Chief Scout’s Silver Award
Camps and Outings
Camps and trips are some of the most memorable events of the year. They allow Cubs to experience activities that aren’t possible during weekly meetings and help build teamwork, confidence, and independence.
Our Leaders
Stuart & Andrea are our Cub Scout Leaders and head the Leadership Team, supported by sectional helpers and parents from the Parent Rota. It’s a team effort, ensuring every Cub has the best possible experience.
