⚜️ The Scout Promise & Law
Scouting has a simple and positive Promise that all members make. The Promise and the Scout Law give a distinctive ethos to the practices of the Movement and act as a bond with Scouts in other countries.
There are three key principles in Scouting:
🙏 Duty to God
🤝 Duty to Others
⭐ Duty to Self
Everyone in Scouting expresses their membership and acceptance of these principles by taking the Promise and following the Scout Law. Squirrels, Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Scouts each have unique Promises and Laws suitable for their age range.
