Uniform

Wearing uniform helps young people feel part of the team and shows pride in being a member of 3rd Farnworth Scout Group. Uniform should be worn to weekly meetings, parades and most events unless leaders advise otherwise.

What to Wear

Each section has its own coloured sweatshirt or shirt. Please see the guidance below.

  • Squirrels: Red sweatshirt
  • Beavers: Turquoise sweatshirt
  • Cubs: Dark green sweatshirt
  • Scouts: Teal green shirt or blouse

Young people should also wear:

  • Group necker (provided by the Group)
  • Dark trousers, skirt or shorts
  • Sensible footwear

Please ensure all items of uniform are clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Badge Placement

Badges should be sewn onto the uniform in the correct places. This helps everyone easily see achievements and awards.
