Our Squirrel Scouts meet regularly to play games, explore the outdoors, get creative, and learn new skills. Everything we do is designed to build confidence, independence, and teamwork — all while having fun and making friends.

What Squirrels Do

Each session is packed with energy and excitement. Activities include:

  • 🎲 Games and team challenges
  • 🎨 Arts, crafts, and creative projects
  • 🌳 Outdoor adventures and nature exploration
  • 📖 Storytelling and imaginative play
  • 🏅 Earning badges and awards
  • 🛠️ Learning simple life skills

What Squirrels Learn

Squirrels develop skills and confidence in a fun, age-appropriate way, including:

  • Confidence and independence
  • Social skills and teamwork
  • Basic problem-solving skills
  • An understanding of the world around them
  • A love for trying new adventures

Each one-hour session is a brilliant introduction to Scouting, preparing young people for school years while having fun outdoors. Occasionally, sessions may take place off-site, and parents will be notified in advance.

Our Leaders

The Squirrel Drey is led by dedicated adult leaders who deliver an inspiring programme. They are supported by helpers and parents from the Parent Rota to ensure a safe, fun, and engaging experience for all Squirrels.
